Speed Redefined: The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+

Site Administrator • Jan 04, 2022

Bugatti revealed that the Chiron, its latest hypercar, would receive even more attention after hitting the mythical 300-mile-per-hour mark. Only 30 of these amazing machines will be available for purchase, so your chances of driving one are low to none, but those who are fortunate enough will have to pay more than $3.9 million. Here’s everything you need to know about the car that redefines speed: the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+.

Why This Car Above Others?

The Chiron Super Sport 300+ is a mid-engine two-seater hypercar named after the modified vehicle that surpassed the 300-mile-per-hour barrier at the Volkswagen Group’s Ehra-Lessien test track in late 2019. The Super Sport was initially shown to current Bugatti-owners in August 2019 as part of the company’s 110th anniversary tour around Europe. Exposed black carbon-fiber bodywork, additional air vents, and quad exhaust tip outlets within an enlarged rear bumper are among the aesthetic features that distinguish the Chiron from the normal model. The limited-edition vehicle went into production in 2021.

Some Impressive Specs

Bugatti is one of the best hypercar manufacturers, having repeatedly achieved top speed records with the Veyron and now the Chiron. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is the first production-based automobile to break 300 miles per hour, albeit in a slightly modified version; however, the production variant can only reach 273.4 miles per hour. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+’s exterior is finely sculpted, with ultra-lightweight magnesium wheels, LED headlights, and a multitude of aero upgrades, such as negative lift rear diffusers and front air curtains. The cabin features leather Alcantara and Jet Orange accents as well as a couple of multi-configurable TFT screens and a basic infotainment system with diamond-tipped tweeters for improved sound output. New buyers of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ will pay roughly $3,900,000.

But What About the Exterior?

Bugatti developed the Chiron Super Sport 300+ for performance, but that doesn’t mean it’s all function over form: the exterior is still appealing and offers a wonderful blend of minimal drag, minimal downforce, and simple elegance. Aside from the revised front air curtains, wheel arch vents, and quad tailpipe outlets, the exposed Jet Black carbon-fiber bodywork with Jet Orange racing stripes has to be the most eye-catching element of the Super Sport 300+. Bugatti’s distinctive Macaron logo is made of pure silver. The 300+ is equipped with a set of Nocturne Black ultra-lightweight magnesium wheels.
